杰克进来了昆西走进商店来
Jake came in, Quincy walked in the shop,
他们想要一块非常、非常独特的
they wanted a pretty, pretty different board
前所未有的冲浪板
that was anyone ever made.
他们想要的东西在我看来很多人会认为没有用
What they wanted I guess a lot of people kind of went that’s not going to work,
它太小她太年幼
it’s too small, she’s too young.
我们走出广场
We stepped outside the square
接着做一些别人未做过的事情然后再做尝试
and did something no one was doing and tried it.
这是很酷的事情
It was a cool thing.

昆西去冲浪对我而言是非常惊讶的的事情
For Quincy to surf for me is an amazing thing
因为我们分享一些对我来说很特别的东西
because we’re sharing something that is so special to me.
而且我坚信那对她来说也是完全特别的或者更甚
And I firmly believe that it’s every bit as special to her if not more so.
之于我所做的她与海洋有一层不同的关系

在冲浪方面她前途一片光明
She’s going to have a really good future in surfing
这是毋庸置疑的
there’s no doubt about it.
她喜爱冲浪你可以看出来她喜欢
She loves it, you can tell she loves it.
要知道没有人强迫她这么做
You know, no one’s forcing it.
你看她一脚绑在冲浪板上
You watch her put a leg rope on,
她在奔跑你望尘莫及
she’s running, you can’t keep up.
我认为昆西精力充沛
I think Quincy has quite a bit of energy.

如果昆西保持进步
If Quincy keeps progressing
我估计她会比我那个时候好
I reckon she’ll be better than me at my age,
好很多并且她登上奖座指日可待
a lot better and she’ll be on the seating in no time.
我是说她现在6岁谁知道以后呢？
I mean she’s 6, who knows.
只要她一如既往热爱冲浪那才是重点
As long as she keeps loving it that’s the main thing.
但我难以估量到12岁时她是怎样一番模样？
But I can’t even think what she would be doing by the age of 12, you know?
应该是非常出色的!
Should be pretty cool hey.
好咯这小家伙也是累了
Okay this little one is getting tired.
